Rayland Epsom Motel is my go-to place in Auckland. I always come back because of the helpful staff who once assisted me with evening plans. It suits me perfectly, providing free parking, laundry, and an electric kettle. Can't wait to return for New Year!

I gotta say, I got some serious bang for my buck at this place! The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfy. The location was spot on, close to public transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed.
Now, if I had to nitpick about something, I'd say the breakfast could've been a bit better. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, but it could use some improvement.

During my recent stay at Rayland Epsom Motel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed was cozy and I had a peaceful night's sleep. The heat pump in the room kept me warm and I didn't hear any traffic noise. The small kitchenette was well-equipped with appliances like a toaster, jug, and microwave, making it convenient for me to prepare simple meals. I also appreciated the extra blankets provided, ensuring I stayed warm throughout my stay. The netted curtains added a sense of privacy and made me feel at ease. Additionally, I never had trouble finding a parking spot when I returned to the motel. my experience at Rayland Epsom Motel was positive.
Drawbacks: The towels provided were quite small, and I found it inconvenient that there was no ironing board. Additionally, there was a mix-up at check-in that resulted in my friend being charged for an extra night, although this issue was eventually resolved.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was just right, not too heavy. The shower in our room was great, providing a refreshing experience. Additionally, the receptionist who gave us the key was friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, making it easy to find and providing easy access to transportation. Furthermore, it is situated in a good, central location, making it convenient to explore the city.
Not one thing.

It was a good central location and was reasonably priced considering the demand on accommodation at the time we stayed.
The room was very dated and old. In desperate need of a renovation. The kitchenette only had one power point for the kettle, toaster, and microwave which made having breakfast a little difficult.

The room seemed very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel was easy to find and central for our purposes.
That their was no dish washing facilities in the room, and no remote control for the T.V, other wise we were very happy with our stay.

Proximity to shops.
Room very small, no top sheets provided and felt a bit unclean. Quite run down and in desperate need of a lift. There was nothing "deluxe" about the room as stated in the description.

The staff were so accommodating. We arrived particularly late that night, but they waited until our arrival and helped us get sorted asap. We asked for a taxi to e booked and this was done immediately. The rooms were spotless; not new, but very home-y and comfortable. The next morning we asked for a late checkout- this was hard for the manager because she had a fully booked motel that night but she said yes anyway

The internet was not user friendly to connect to and was expensive to use, despite my telling the manager that I wanted to be able use skype. Was told that this was cheap use of the internet. Not so.

We were only there to sleep as we were passing through. It was easy to find and accessible to the amenities we required.
